The University of Kansas (KU) is updating its online Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) preparation course to meet the new 2026 standards outlined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board’s (BCBA) third edition of the RBT Test content. The update is the latest effort to make KU’s storied Department of Applied Behavior Sciences more accessible and meet the industry’s growing demand for RBT’s.

The University of Kansas Edwards Campus is bringing back its in-person option for Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification training this fall, the first time it’s been offered face-to-face since before the COVID-19 pandemic. The five-day course will be held Fridays on Sept. 26, Oct. 3, 10, 17, and 24. It also will be available online for those who prefer a virtual format.

The KU Osher Institute's fall 2025 catalog features 50 courses and eight special events for lifelong learners ages 50 and up. With 19 new classes and seven first-time events, topics range from history to current events and culture. A preview event is planned July 16, and course registration opens that day at 5 p.m. at the Osher Institute website.
