Fire Instructor
The Fire Instructor Program area provides a pathway for new and experienced training personnel to gain experience, confidence, competency, and National credentialing. These courses infuse the principles of adult learning, psychology, instructional coaching, and training development within the scope of NFPA 1041, Standard for Fire and Emergency Services Professional Qualifications, and NFPA 1403, Standard on Live Fire Training Evolutions.
Topics include training designed to meet National Certification for:
- Fire Service Instructor Level 1 and 2
Other training programs soon to be available include:
- Live Fire Instructor
- Live Fire Instructor-In-Charge
All Fire Instructor topics are delivered in a hybrid format. Students are to complete an online ("Part 1") course before attending the face-to-face ("Part 2") session.
