Center for Reimagining Education (CRE)
The KU Center for Reimagining Education (CRE) partners with school districts to transform traditional education through the strategic use of AI, technology, and data. Through its flagship course, Reimagining Learning Through the CRE Framework, CRE's professional development programs empower educators and leaders to shift from conventional, teacher-led instruction toward student-driven learning by developing practical skills in designing innovative instructional practices, collecting and interpreting evidence of impact, leading transformational change, and building sustainable systems that support long-term growth. Built around three core lenses — disrupting traditional practice, elevating student involvement, and starting small to scale big — participants complete the four-module online course with ready-to-use tools, templates, and artifacts they can bring directly back to their schools or districts.

KU Center on Disabilities
The Kansas University Center on Disabilities partners with people with disabilities, families, and communities to strengthen self-determination and inclusive pathways to adulthood. KUCD's online learning courses provide flexible, evidence-based training in self-determination instructional practices, inclusive research capacity building, and community teaming strategies to support people with disabilities across the lifespan. Our courses support educators, service providers, and researchers to develop actionable instructional skills, apply evidence-based practices, collaborate across systems, and strengthen inclusive, community-engaged supports.

Global Education Academy
The KU School of Education and Human Sciences’ Global Education Academy offers professional development for educators, with coursework that can be stacked toward graduate credit. Courses focus on the Comprehensive, Integrated, Three-Tiered (Ci3T) model — a proactive framework designed to prevent academic and behavioral challenges before they escalate. Through universal screening, differentiated instruction, and positive behavior interventions, Ci3T equips educators with tiered support strategies that promote students' academic success, meaningful school engagement, and overall well-being.
