Choose from flexible formats to fit your schedule: a 5-day in-person Green Belt, an 8-week online Green Belt, or a self-paced online Black Belt. This on-demand, online program prepares new Green Belts to lead projects and contribute to improving services and manufacturing. Those who pass the exam will receive Green Belt certification from the University of Kansas.
When: Eight-week program with live, two-hour online sessions each week, plus self-paced lessons (45–60 minutes of readings, activities, and videos). Start anytime within 30 days of enrolling; once you begin in Canvas, you’ll have up to two months to complete the course.

This online program prepares those who already have a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt to coordinate and lead large projects by utilizing Lean Six Sigma philosophies and principles, demonstrating team leadership, understanding team dynamics and assigning team member roles and responsibilities. Lean Six Sigma Black Belts communicate to management, provide leadership to projects, and train others working on projects. Those who pass the exam will receive Black Belt certification from the University of Kansas.
