Osher Lifelong Learning Institute Unveils Spring 2026 Catalog Featuring Diverse Courses & Special Events
LAWRENCE, KS — The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at the University of Kansas has released its much-anticipated Spring 2026 catalog, offering a rich slate of noncredit courses and special events designed for curious adults aged 50 and better. From compelling explorations in history and culture to engaging discussion-based classes, the Spring lineup delivers meaningful opportunities for lifelong learning.
“The Spring 2026 Osher catalog is full of surprises you will only get from Osher,” said Jennifer Kraenzle, director of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. “Want to take a deep dive into Mark Twain? How about a class on aging with vitality? Perhaps you want to explore the American Revolution, Kansas City’s connection to the Civil Rights movement, or learn more about the naturalization process? You can learn all of this and much more this semester with Osher.”
Featured Spring 2026 Offerings
The Spring catalog includes a diverse mix of courses and events offered in person, online, or hybrid formats. Highlights include:
- Black History of Kansas City: A full-day guided experience exploring the city’s deep cultural roots and civil rights history.
- The U.S. Naturalization Process & The Path to Citizenship: An informative class walking through naturalization eligibility, application steps, and interview insights.
- Personal Vitality & Fulfillment: An interactive course focused on strengthening physical, mental, and emotional wellness.
- The American Revolution: The British Perspective, 1775 – 1783: Examine this pivotal era from the British point of view.
- United States & World War II: Forgotten Military & Civilian Heroes and Heroines: Celebrate lesser-known contributions on the WWII home front and battlefields.
